A Roanoke native, Thomas graduated from Hidden Valley High School in 2009 and Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2014. As a lifelong resident of Roanoke County, he has extensive knowledge of the Roanoke Valley. In high school, Thomas became a volunteer EMT and began his professional fire department career in 2015.
